I recently had confirmation that I will hold my two-year postdoctoral award from SSHRC and FRQSC at the Oxford Uehiro Centre for Practical Ethics in 2018-19. I will then be based in London, where my wife lives and works. In 2019-20, I will hold my award at the Center for Ethics at the University of Toronto. I am, of course, very excited for this new adventure!
New Funding!
I was just awarded new postdoctoral funding from the Social Sciences and Research Council of Canada and the Fonds québécois de recherche sur la société for my research project "Democracy and Deceit: Rethinking Collective Decision-Making in the Era of Misinformation". I am currently working through the details of determining which universities will be my home institutions for the next two years.
Political Epistemology in London
I had tons of fun at the Political Epistemology Conference in London. Great feedback and great discussions. Thanks to Robin McKenna and Michael Hannon for organizing the event. I certainly hope it won't be the last of its kind!
